Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland there is surprisingly little to do. I spent much of my childhood getting up to no good, but having plenty of fun doing it. When i think back now at my brother blasting Schoolly D in one room and me blasting Motley Crue in the other it was pretty much our own version of the RUN DMC walk this way video which i am sure was quite a sight. By my teenage years both my brother and I had amassed a very large and eclectic record collection, but was heartbroken to receive a call one day to be told it was all stolen (Bastards).
After recovering from that tragedy, I realized it was the time to start over and focus on music that was ALL good this time around. And hence began my lifelong love affair with good music. Nothing better then a few tasty pints and a good gig.
I love finding new stuff, being introduced to new artists, and reinventions from my old favorites.
My wife who is younger than me still listens to the muck she listened to in secondary school - enter Ace of Base. Hence my mantra of you are only old when you stop listening to new music kicked in. When you look at life in those terms I am a nipper compared to her! It is with this in mind that I bring you new music each month. If I can help at all in your battle against age it is with great pleasure. Feel free to pass on this website to anyone out there who is trying to stay young or just likes good music.
